This Forum at COP28 will shine a spotlight on innovating and scaling science-based, responsible Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) as the critical third pillar of transformative climate action alongside emissions reductions and climate adaptation. Led by the Government of Kenya under the leadership of President Ruto, and in partnership with Alliance for Science, BTI and Konza Metropolis, the GCRP convened the first ever national multi-stakeholder workshop focused on developing a responsible carbon removal ecosystem for Kenya.
